Our First Visit with Yayasan Sosial Tangan Kasih!

On Saturday, the 21st of January, the founders of Kasih Edukasi made their first visit to Yayasan Sosial Tangan Kasih, located in Tangerang, Banten.

With us, we brought in our first batch of donations, which included children’s books written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, colouring books, stationery, and 45 lunch boxes for everyone at the foundation.

We met with the foundation head, Finus, who gave us a tour of the place, where we met the children for the first time. We then explained what Kasih Edukasi was about and gave initial plans for the English lessons we plan to offer. 

Finally, we were able to visit the girls’ home nearby and coordinate a weekly schedule for lessons, which are held every Sunday.
